Bairstow hit 95 to save England on the third day
London: England failed to grab a substantial first innings lead as they bowled out for 315 in their first innings. Jonny Bairstow ensured his selection ahead of Kevin Pieterson was a justified one by hitting 95 runs but South African bowlers pulled back to cut the lead down to only 6. South Africa then reached 145-3 in 50 overs, gaining a overall lead by 139 runs with Hashim Amla unbeaten on 57 and Dale Steyn on 0.
